It took us roughly 3 hours drive from Manila to San Jose Tarlac. We were advised my Mudita to bring our vaccination cards and medical certificate as there are checkpoints going to San Jose.

It could be walang insects, it might be because the site is in the middle of the palayan, and if organic farming isn't practiced, then insecticides and fertilizers are sprayed sa palay, kaya walang insects sa palibot, but then it may be not. Thanks for sharing your experience. I guess the presence of flies and insects is seasonal. We are here now in Mudita and the flies and insects can be bothersome. It is a must to apply insect repellant every so often. Despite of this, we still love the place, the excellent service and the food.
