AVC 29, Thanks for your feedback. I was on a jet ski out of shot maintaining LOS (and on the beach for some shots). I was outside of the airport restriction zone according to the DJI app. Cheers!

Old Woman Island is 2.5km away from the Sunshine Coast Airport, and the beach that you took off from is 1.2km away from the airport. You are required to be at least 3nm (5.5km) away from the airport at all times. And it's interesting you say you are on a jetski, as the final frames of the shot show you on the beach controlling the drone!

The DJI Go app showed otherwise with a restriction zone indicated for the airport and I was outside that. You have valid concerns and I appreciate that you have taken the time to raise them. Have a great day.

Not a problem, I understand the DJI Go App does show restriction zones, but they don't seem to be particularly accurate. I'm a resident on the Sunshine Coast and also a licensed drone operator, so I know where the restrictions are, but kudos to you too for not just dismissing my comments. Have a good day too.
