Great finds Aussie , especially love the marking on the pipe . I see a mark that resembles a fox head? on the spur maybe . X marks the spot on the musket ball also a unique piece. The history of execution docks is very interesting. Thanks for another step back in time, Oi,Oi,Oi.

The buttons are beautiful and so is that ornate buckle that you have found, really nice finds. I'm thinking that the little mystery brass loop might be in the button vein too maybe an eye on the back of a button that has lost it's mount, my first thought was along the lines of a Tudor/Elizabethan button but I might be wrong. Execution Dock looks interesting!

Your pixie ring could be the center of a button. Often shell buttons had a metal center that was actually part of the shank that extended through the shell part to hold it on. Some were plain and some larger and decorative. Here is a photo of some small, plain ones, but you'll get the idea. rosemille.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54f9a77b7883401348529da9a970c-pi
