Does the Netherlands have scrap metal salvage where you can earn money for scrap metal? There seems to be so much there that you could pick up buckets full at every visit.

Dozens. You can turn in your scrap metal in every town. Pays for my expenses. Copper, brass, lead.

I am still not getting, for which things you go...? Sometimes you leave items behind, others would take. So the old keys... why not taking them and selling them in a konvolut for craft projects on ebay or so? 😧

Hi Tatjana Kaiser, problem is there is much that other people would like to have. China, colored glass, jars, padlocks,....and keys. And I have to carry the bags. I have a hard time getting to my car with all my scrap metal and treasures. 10 / 20 kilo's. I can not carry more. Still, one day I will sell river frosted marbles, by the hundred. Or 50 lighters. Regards.
