Maybe the object at 27:53 with the little holes in it, it might be a clothes sprinkler! One that was put on a bottle of water to sprinkle your clothes before you ironed them, 😝

That vial is for medicine that gets injected. You break off the tear drop part and stick the needle in the top and draw up the liquid.

The thing with the little holes looks like what my mom would put in a pop bottle to sprinkle water on her clothes before ironing. It usually had a cork on one end.

Sarah I live in Canada and a few weeks ago went to buy a Kilner storage jar with clamp lid about one litre in size- it was $14 ! Designed in the UK but made in China! That jar you found is lovely.
