I have watched many others mudlark but none can compare to you. The way you film your finds without making us dizzy is easy on the eye. The sound quality is always superb. Your choice and volume of background music is so subtle and welcoming. Your humble enthusiasm never wains with each new find. You are both VERY talented and I just love every chance to join you on your quests.

If you need more hat pin wires buy surveyors wire flags. You can get two or three hat pin wires out of each one. In Canada I have bought them at a farm store. They come in a large bundle and cost around twenty five dollars. There is enough wire in them to last years.

Hey ladies. Another great video. Thank you so much. Little correction : on this amazing blue stopper, it's "Dans la nuit", not "Sans la nuit". It means something like "In the night". There are 3 kind of stopper decoration for this perfume : a single "W", a crescent moon and stars and the one you found with crescent moon and "dans la nuit". Well done ! Next time, the whole vial. I believe in you. Cheers from south of France, keep make us dream of endless wonders.

I've been wanting to make a tray of succulents arranged in a garden-like setting. It looks to me that you could make a doll house version with the bits and pieces of greenish glass you found in this video. Even the two spoons look like leaves on stems. The blue stopper is beautiful. I have a very small stopper, but it's clear. Always fascinating to see what you find and what you do with it.

What a great bead day! I had a wee giggle to myself, as Kate was using what looks to be a reusable mesh vegetable bag to collect her items - exactly what I use when I mudlark on my local beach - light and easy to carry and washable! Nice and sturdy too.

I love beads, and I think if you were to nestle the green succulent-looking bead into the yellow cone-shaped bead, the two would make a flower used often by jewelry designers such as Miriam Haskell. Especially her early pieces from the 1930s and 40s.

Wonderful finds! I enjoyed all of them. I was thinking Fleur, when you picked up the bottle that was too heavy to carry back, it had a bakelite top. I would have kept the top, it ha shape that would have made a flower pot, or otherwise useful item. I have saved interesting caps from time to time. Just a thought. Please have a wonderful holiday, we all will look forward to your return! Safe travels!
@richardserridge27672 жыл бұрын
So many beeaaaddss! They are such lovely colours and forms. That stopper is fantastic. If that triangular piece of marble was smaller it would make a great miniature trianglular mantelpiece clock. Didn't realise there were lots of bottles there too... I'm hoping to find bottles at some point 😂 A lovely long video ladies 😊 A last point I'll make, me and my friends found an old 1915 era power line in South Wales that was disused for about 50 years and collapsed in a pine plantation. However, alongside the amazing insulators I also got a big terminal box that had mica discs behind it's little lead-in insulators. It's a fascinating material and funnily enough the second terminal box had exploded in service... Just shows why they needed mica's heat resisting properties in the earlier days of electricity!

Could the broken beads make a basket of fruit & veg in the doll house? I just love the relationship between you two. I’m sure you have your moments, but I cherish my relationship with my daughter ( and my son) who is an adult now. We can potter about together quite happily too. It makes me so happy. It’s a precious thing to be so close to your offspring and to share a passion on an equal footing, I think that is part of the charm and success of your videos. Long may it last. Thank you😊🌸😊
