Is there a name for the type of buggy/truck at 1:00 that looks like a T-bucket hot rod? I have always thought it would be cool to build a hot rod roadster with more ground clearance, suspension travel and aggressive tires for off-road fun, that thing is as close to what I picture in my head as I have seen.

Such a rad event! Until this edit was uploaded some years ago, this event was completely unknown to me. I mean having a bunch of some of the quickest and fastest rigs get together and line up 6 or more wide and run em' or dudes in buggies that seriously power wheelie without the clutch and chill controlling a legit wheelie with the gas and then get even more dudes willing to send their brand new side by side that was like $20,00 the wife doesn't know you financed yet and destroy it for some fun is illegal where I'm from. I'm beside myself that its possible to get insurance for this! I mean the hoops that must be jumped through must be insane! All joking aside, I wish these types of things went down more locally around here. Not like they couldn't as Hollister hills is my backyard. I always see these mud events and everybody's having a few beers still tearing up the mud and their smiling. The look of no worries from the law. Out here you so much as think about a cold beer while you're driving or hell, just thinking about a cold beer and thinking about driving will get you locked up! The law can smell fun being had from 10 miles away! Especially if you got a few people going fast. Then wheelies! Dont get me started on wheelies where I'm from. The law is trained to get a twitch in their chest if the frequency of a clutch popping or shame on the ones doing power wheelies but even power wheelies give the law the spidey sense tingle and their on you for wheelies. Even if the suspension just unloads and the headlight jumps a bit. That's a wheelie. The smell of anything greater than 91 octane as well. C-16 makes the law go into terminator 2 mode. You're going down hard for gas that gets you going. That sweet straight from heaven scent from a vehicle that you are driving and they throw you up underneath the jail and big ol' Hank the Tank the rookie corn fed sum' bitch' swallows that key he does. Not happening 'round here. A sled pull once every blue moon and maybe a top trick challenge but no fun can be had. Nobody is laughing or smoking. Just standing there. They might say "heeey yeaaah! Goooo!" But get a dirty look from the law. If they had a beer in hand they might actually qualify for the death penalty. Yup, I'm positive they do. If caught drinking a cold beer outside watching some good ol' fun and fast vehicular recreation you will be facing a death penalty case here. It sucks. But, keep the videos coming man! Every single one is awesome and a man can live vicariously through all the people out there having fun without the law imposing! Peace!
