The camera work is already much more dynamic / engaging here than 2019. A lot was handheld on the first movie but here it looks creatively crane maneuvered. And yes its possible this was actually done. On the sets they used real cameras for certain movement and feel even tho the elements on screen were all computer animated. But it feels like more rules were broken to get “impossible” shots that the first movie would avoid. Yet its done to great effect here.
