I love Hannah's game and she is young and still growing. I don't agree with Hannah sharing Candace's post which is hateful period. Hannah has a right to express her views and we have a right to agree or disagree with your viewpoint. I would like Hannah's faith to expand to all people. She is young and i will not cancel her but I will disagree with you and your views which I think is anti-human and regressive. I'm a spiritual person who believes in love for all those in a genuine relationship of consent and care. Let's keep in mind in this country it was forbidden for enslaved Africans to marry each other unless your master gave you permission and in several states up to the late 1960s interracial marriage was banned. This is question of human and democratic rights of people. Hannah continue growing and learning my precious little sister because there is a beautiful world to experience despite the ugliness we see on a daily basis aimed at our LGBTQIA siblings. 😊❤✊️🙏

Hannah Hidalgo has every right to express her views on any issue she chooses. Freedom of speech allows for the open sharing of ideas and beliefs. Believing that marriage is defined as being between a man and a woman is not inherently homophobic-it reflects a historic definition that has been accepted for thousands of years. It would be disingenuous for anyone to pretend to support something they genuinely do not agree with. Staying true to one’s convictions, regardless of the environment, is admirable. Hannah is setting an example by standing firm in her beliefs and being a light to the world!

Yeah, but it's not always about talent. It's also about "fit" as well. The WNBA is filled with players who do fall within the alphabet LBGT community, and teams that may have the vast majority of their locker room filled with members of said community may not want to share a locker room with her over a post like that. Granted, there might be some that will overlook that as long as Hidalgo can ball, but we can't say that for everyone in the WNBA.

Third, Geneva seems more concerned that Hannah, "look at her environment," and stay silent about her religious beliefs.
