I was wondering if the newer reverb model has 2x100 watts separate between the cab and the speaker out channel.

Hello. My name is Antonio, I live in Spain. I'm a guitarist and I just bought the ZT LUNCHBOX REVERB amp. I'm still worried because when plugged in it has a constant blowing noise that sounds quite a lot compared to my AER Compact 60 or my Rolsnd cube, for example. The amplifier works when the guitar is plugged in, however, and as I said before, the noise in the form of a constant blow is much higher than in the two amplifiers mentioned above. I don't know if this is normal or if on the contrary the amplifier has some kind of problem and therefore it is defective from the factory. Waiting for your help in the form of an answer, receive a cordial greeting.

Hi Antonio, could be you have the Volume control turned up very high with the Gain too low, this can cause white noise. Please email techsupport@ztamplifiers with questions, and hope you enjoy the amp!

I love my lunchbox!! I found one used. the store didn't run through it properly and I have to have the input jack fixed but it works still and is just a mind blowing little amp 😫

Got an opportunity to pick up the original Lunchbox for $200. Is this worth getting? I'd be using external reverb pedal anyway.

Would lunchbox reverb fit as practise/recording apartment amp?

Yes, but it's made for stage use as well.

Maybe it's the class D amp in the new model as opposed to A/B that's in the old one. The LB junior is class D and I always liked it more than the old LB. Anyway new LBR sounds killer.

It's an 80-watt difference in between them, my question is, would I be ok adding the new one as the other channel on my new stereo rig? Or would I be better off sourcing a second hand original Lunchbox. It keeps blowing people's minds away so I can't part with it.

The original Lunchbox's rating was a peak power rating; the Lunchbox Reverb is rated 100W RMS. The Lunchbox Reverb is actually slightly more powerful than the original Lunchbox amp. So there wouldn't be a real imbalance if you use the Reverb with your original Lunchbox in a stereo configuration.
