For me to study a religion, 1 way would be to go on a quest (requiring time and commitment) to learn the language it was originally written in so that I am able to interpret it correctly and reduce the likelihood that I would be deceived. I think a more efficient way (what I'm doing) and thanks to the internet is to look at content from different viewpoints and applying my mind based on the content and not someone’s feelings and personal believes. The difference between clever\intelligence\wisdom is sometimes just playing with words, I am interested in the truth. In my country I get to interact with various groups of people (race eligion\cultures). I interact with Jews and Muslims daily that are awesome and good people. ANY book that justifies killing people based on their Religion\Race doesn’t correspond with me and the world I would love to exist.

I can also tell by content they are fluent in speaking and reading Arabic and they seem to have studied the both Qur'an and bible. It's not only their content I've watched, I've seen content from ex-Muslims too. Balance here is not about 50-50, is to follow what is in the last book of Allah and the practice of the last Prophet, peace be upon him. Which tells us to respect and honour 24 other Prohets from Him, Adam until Isa (Jesus). Edit: I don't know why this had turned into people badmouthing half of humankind. People say our prophet SAW is a role model and they want to follow his sunnah. Everything I mention are facts about his character and behaviour and not my opinion. Is it up to you how much you really want to follow his example/sunnah. People forget prophet PBBUH was very shy in some regards. He was strong, a warrior, but he was not afraid to show love, to be public with that love (e.g. refusing dinner invite until Aishah RA was also invited.) He was not afraid to show emotion, cry in front of people, or to ask for help or seek comfort from his wife. He showed most masculinity and vulnerability, he was known for his honesty, guys who can be honest and blunt and show vulnerability know that in reality that is a sign of strength too. EDIT: This is not about being vulnerable in general. Most men are too afraid to be vulnerable around other men, friends, families, doctors, therapists... We know we suffer, as a whole, because of it. With regards to women how differently do you think it would have turned out if our beloved prophet PBBUH had been too afraid to confide and cry to Khadija, RA, even though he thought he was crazy?

@@deaniedean248 I think Shaykhs emphasize the kindness, gentleness aspect of a man to strike balance because the default (fitrah and societal programming) is that of masculinity which relies on harshness. If you watch Andrew Tate, he comes across as very harsh and forceful. Many of the things he says are fine (many aren't, let's focus on the good things) but the forcefulness and harshness needs to melt away. I realize that his indignation may be justified but he needs to learn to control his anger. In his past, he has admitted to committing violence against women and advocated violence against women. That is not the way of our holy Prophet (saw)nor the path of Islam. Emphasizing the warrior aspect may incorrectly and inadvertently encourage men to be unnecessarily harsh including violent.

@@BreezeofBliss This. Our beloved prophet had a lot of respect towards women and knew how to them. I don't know much about Tate either but from what I've seen he seems to not have much respect for women and does not value them much and does not realise how much women have to offer; they are more then their looks. Comments from his followers make it seem like that's why they like him. It is true that men and women are built differently and have different parts to play (though they can overlap) but that does not mean women are not equal or men or strong in a lot of areas where men are weak. Like mufti said, balance is key. We most not paying everyone with the same brush and must know when to use what approach on a case by case basis.

I like this guy finally someone talks about the fact that islam is about balance! There are multiple indications that as long it does not damage you or others and espcially not obsessed with it you will be fine! I've read the English Quran translation fully about 3 times now. It's only after I read it cover to cover, I realised how different it is from hundreds of other books Ive read. The main theme I saw throughout the Quran was the reminder to be mindful of Allah/God at all times. It is indeed a other worldly book. Yet it gives profound guidance in this worldly situations too. I need to start reading it more and apply it more.
