THIS IS A MUST ON THE DAY OF

The Day of ‘Arafah is the most blessed day of the year. The Prophet ﷺ said, ’There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than on the day of ‘Arafah’. (Muslim)
روى أبو قتادة رضي الله تعالى عنه أن النبي صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم قال: «صِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ، أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِي بَعْدَهُ» أخرجه مسلم،
Fasting on this day should not be passed up. The expiation of 2 years of minor sins for one day signifies the greatness of this day to Allah. It should be the highlight of our calendar and the peak of our worship. Do not regret do your utmost to make the most of these opportunity, treat it as your last you never know it could be your last.
وقد ورد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أيضًا، قوله: "خير الدعاء يوم عرفة، وخير ما قلت أنا والنبيون من قبلي: لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك، وله الحمد، وهو على كل شيء قدير".
Always know that Allah knows what you whisper within yourself, He knows what you seek to ask of Him. Turn to Him with that which he taught us to say through His Prophet ﷺ.

● Try your best to do at least some of these things throughout the day : 1. Performing your mandatory salah, this is one of the most important acts you can do in your day to day life. 2. Performing thikr, it doesnt need to be alot, just a little bit every day goes a long way. Eg. AllahuAkbar, Subhanallah and Alhamdulilah. 3. Sending salawaat upon the holy prophet Muhammad(SAW) , such as reciting Durood Ibrahim 4. Try to your best to be an honest person, no matter what. 5. Give charity if you have the means to do so. 6. Help somebody or aim to make a fellow muslim happy, with the correct intention this calls for a great reward. 7. Avoid gossip and false accusations as well as avoiding backbiting. 8. Always respect and be kind towards your parents, remember that you will never be able to repay them for what they did for you. ● May Allah, the most glorious, always keep our intentions pure and protect us from kibr, if Allah wills. Allah knows best.

**Number 8 is my concern.I’m respectful to my parents. Both my parents are still alive Alhamdullilah but I never grew up with my father my parents are no longer together so he has others children,and Obviously he prefers them over me. I tried to brings the issue up few times I got the chance to talk to him but seems like the situation is not changing which break my heart and make really me feel sad anytime I think about him. There’s no sincerity between me and my other siblings either…I can feel competition, comparison envy jealousy from my half siblings And so much more issues… for all these reasons I despise my father.Most of the times I rather forget about his existence than knowing I have a father somewhere as too much damage has been done from my childhood through adulthood.I pray Allah that Allah open his heart and make him realized his wrongdoings. Am I sinning by not wanting to have anything to do with my father anymore? I’m fearing that I’m not rightful to him but he is the reason for my sadness.

@@f.6347 My brother, you can never cut ties with your parents. Simply for the fact that they are your parents, you owe them a debt you cannot repay. I understand it must be heartbreaking but you cannot despise your father, instead make dua, not only for your father but for yourself as well. InShaAllah, your situation will improve. Also, never forget, this is a test from our Lord, he wants to see how you deal with the situation, so be patient and do your best.

Salamu aleykum. The day of arafat will commence on Friday July 8. May Allah allow us to witness the blessed day of Arafat. Make dua that Allah allows you to witness the blessed day of Arafat and enables you to do many good deeds. May Allah give us the strength to fast, make extensive dua and keep our tongues moist in the remembrance of Allah on the day of Arafat. The best day of the entire year is the day of Arafat. Make dua that Allah allows you to witness Arafat. Wallahi I have seen the power of making dua on the day of Arafat and all my duas were accepted. Alhamdillah. The dua made on the day of Arafat is guaranteed to be accepted. Make alot of dua on that day and you will see your duas accepted.
