I'm new to the KoF series, I know Kyo is the main character and I know who other's are by name. But is Kyo in cannon THAT powerful. I mean again I know he's the main and I DID see all of the first Mark of the Soul (It's what made me get into KoF)

There are a lot of Kyo in the series. You're going to have to be more specific.

Kyo is powerful, powerful to land a finishing blow on Orochi whose a diety but not to thr extent shown in this series. I dont think any of these characters could decimate a bunch of kyo clones on their own tbh. And they all form teams when fighting the main boss in each game.

Kyo is powerful indeed. He can incinerate steel beam with just one blow in KOF another day. But he did canonically get bodied in several occasions as in goenitz and riot blood state iori in KOF xi

Kyo Kusanagi and his allies embarked on a crusade to stop the N.E.S.T.S mastermind Igniz from unleashing hundreds of Clones upon the Earth. Unfortunately the fighters were no match for Igniz's speed and strength. Unfortunately, two of the clones that Igniz created proved to be his undoing. As he was forced to fight against the two clones that were designated as "The Perfect clones". Kyo-57 and Iori-42. Both clones injected with the memories of the Original Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami, but their fighting skills and potential can easily rival that of the originals. After defeating their Creator, the entire space station began to self-destruct, allowing our Heroes to escape. Kyo Kusanagi and his allies presumed to think that the two clones who helped them defeat Their Enemy have perished in the explosion of the space station. Or so they thought..... As a new and more powerful Enemy was watching the events unfold, He has yet to reveal himself!!! Will Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami meet and clash with their more powerful clone counterparts?
