@ I understand how you feel. I feel like a part of my youth died along with Eddie in 2020. When I was at the concert this year I was enjoying the memory of EVH as Joe was doing his thing. Seeing Michael and Sammy on stage also was great also……

You should check out the upscaled 4k live version clipped from "Live Without A Net". It really shows EVH and the band at their pinnacle (IMO).

This song was ALL about Eddie's guitar composition against Sammy's lyrics and vocal performance. The drums were definitely secondary to those things, in my opinion. This is the best track on the album.

To me, *that* is what the spirit of the album & song 5150 is: they’re making the record, they’re saying, we always “find” compromise but you always want “one more” lol probably favorite VH song!

@ Ed never wrote lyrics. Roth would have written them and sung them like Roth. Listen to a lot of VH w/o the vocals and imagine trying to write lyrics/melody.
