I can also name a few groups that are in that kind of "perfect sync" who not only were not related but had come together as groups under unusual circumstances... groups like Colabro... Welcome to the world of the Bee Gees. Very few groups DOMINATED the airwaves for as long as they did. The Disco era was theirs, the movie Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta was like a list of their Greatest Hits and was a cultural classic, and they churned #1 songs one after another. They were so much on the airwaves that a fatigue set in, and in the backlash that followed, they had to write songs for other artists, and those songs hit #1 as well! That's how talented these brothers were! And you will not be surprised that so many other black reactors had thought the Bee Gees were black too! It's one of the most entertaining things to watch their face when they see them on the screen for the first time!

@@maelilmc4079 You missed the point. The Bee Gees talent means they didn't have to lip sync when they were singing LIVE. I think you knew that but are playing ignorant. @@TheBrownlj I saw them sing this song in 1979 from the front row LIVE in Miami, Florida. No lip syncing - They really were that good & didn't need to lip sync because, unlike some of the boiler plate song singers of today, they practiced singing together for hours every day and had been doing so for years. Also lip syncing was so frowned upon back then the career of any a singer caught doing it was literally "over". Hell lip syncing was still a big career ending NO NO in 1989, just ask Milli Vanilli. 1. They were bothers who'd sang together their whole lives 2. They were more than 'That good' They were off the charts fabulous.

3 brothers who have been singing together since they were kids in the late 1950s, even though they were born on Isle of Mann (British) and spend young childhood in Manchester, England, their family immigrated to Australia and stayed there until they returned to England in early 1960s. They performed on Australian radio and TV and wrote (for themselves and others) and recorded before they returned to England. Barry, the older brother, is in the middle. Robin (long hair) and Maurice are fraternal twins. They have perfect harmonies because they have been singing together to the radio and records since they were kids. They have never, ever used autotune and perform all songs at concerts and on TV and videos live. They have no formal music training and couldn't even read music when they started out and are all self-taught on multiple instruments. Barry was told by their producer one day that they needed him to singe falsetto and he just sang it, no training. They wrote, recorded and performed their own songs (approx. 1000 to 1500 songs) for 50 years and also wrote and produced records for Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Dionne Warwick, Celine Dione, Barbra Streisand, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton and many others. They moved to Miami, FL in late 1970s and recorded at Criteria Studio there and eventually bought the studio and renamed it Middle Ear Studio. Maurice died in 2003 and Robin died in 2012 but Barry is still alive. After Maurice died, Robin and Barry continued as the Bee Gees, writing, recording, and touring. After Robin died, Barry has continued to write, record and produce records for himself and others and toured for while with 2 of his sons and Maurice's daughter who is a singer. He also mentors young musicians. He and his wife have 5 children, numerous grandchildren and have been married for 54 years and they still live in Miami.

They wrote their own music, more than 1,000 songs, they had 9 number 1 hits and wrote hits for other artists including Diana Ross, Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton and Barry (lead singer here) wrote and recorded a whole album with Barbra Streisand. They wrote the theme song to the movie “Grease” and the majority of the soundtrack for the movie “Saturday Night Fever”. Barry didn’t discover that falsetto voice until the 70’s. He has a great lower voice also that can be heard on “Nights on Broadway” as well as Robin Gibb sharing the lead. I recommend watching their live appearance on The Midnight Special Show. @@sue9197 I got that straight from Barry’s mouth in the 2019 Biography of The Bee Gees. But if you Google what year he first sang in falsetto this is the direct quote: The first Bee Gees Song that Barry sang in Falsetto was “Nights on Broadway”, from the Bee Gees' 1975 album “Main Course”. Record Producer Arif Mardin asked Barry if he could “scream in tune” during the main chorus of the song, Barry said “he'll try”, did it and…the rest is Bee Gees History. I was a fan of The Bee Gees in the 1960’s and Barry never sang in falsetto. Go look up their hits prior to 1974 and watch.
