Beenox did confirmed that they wanted the tracks in CNK to feel more like CTR like making them not too long and had to shorten some of the tracks down. Something like that

I know Hyper Space Way was too big to have a mini map but I think it’s great for not having it. It gives the sense that you don’t know where Velo is located so even if you’re ahead of him, you can’t be cocky thinking that you won until the race is actually over

@@RockStoneLee19 As a massive CTR fan, no, Diddy Kong racing did it before, hell, the devs of CTR have said that they recreated a map from DKR before starting work on CTR just to test the waters. While CTR is also a Kart racing game like Mario Kart, I have to say CTR is way better, now, CNK on the other hand was dissapointing and absolutely terrible in comparison, probably because Naughty Dog was not involved as you can see that the quality Crash games had went on a downward spiral as soon as Wrath of Cortex came out. (Or Crash Bash, but since it's a spinoff and mini-game based, it was not quite clear). Good thing the remastered trilogy and Nitro Fueled made the original games justice.

This was my first PS2 game back in 2005 when i got my PS2 and first time i was able to actually beat Velo (and this game) was in 2013 becouse i didnt know how to power slide 😅 i only pressed R1 and drifted to corner with no power boosting.... When i was able to finally finish this game back then it felt like i won F1 world title xD such an amazing game!

This boss was really hard at first, especially before I discovered that he always released his bowling bombs in the exact same places. And before I discovered that he tended to release bowling bombs every time one of your weapons hit him to try and stop you from overtaking him.

Ah...Perhaps The Best and Greatest and Infamous Cartoon Racing Boss Battle of Racing History It's Debated but Perhaps He is but One Things for sure He Is DANGEROUS but luckily and Fortunately, He was At Very Old Age and His Time was Soon Coming Up with His two Biggest Achilles Heels the Little Scenic Turns and The End of the track with Him hitting the Lasers. I personally give the Developers A Bravo for Giving A Challenging Final Boss. I Wish We Got to Play As The Robotic Version of Himself. A Great and Fun Game brings back memories ;-)

Protip: 90% of the time that you fall off the very first bridge of the race course and die, you will be placed right at the end point of the first major jump, shaving about 5-7 seconds off of your time. You'll also be placed in automatic first if it's the beginning of the race.

This is one of the hardest bosses in my opinion cause with velo you have to have a perfect race against him as if you fall of the map your lose if you hit a wall you lose if you get hit with any item your lose so basically make one mistake and you might as well just restart the race sometimes I feel like the race against Velo is more cheap than fighting game final boss I can't believe how many times I had to restart the race but at the end I finally beat him so in my opinion if I had to rate The final boss difficulty from 1 to 10 it would be a 7 cause even when you figure out how to beat him all you can do after that is hope that you can when the race and not mess up.

Yeah. For Penta you need to insert a code at the menu. For Oxide you need Gameshark XD As for Tropy and the others, no you don't need cheats ... Tropy is a bit hard to unlock though, but not impossible :)
