Here is most special Shahi Firni Recipe. Firni is a very famous rice pudding recipe. We serve Shahi Phirni on any occasions like Biye Bari as dessert item. It is also very popular as Eid Special recipe.
Ingredients of Shahi Firni Recipe:
1. Milk (1 it).
2. Soaked Basmati rice (100 gm).
3. Sugar (½ cup).
4. Crushed almonds (for garnishing).
5. Cashew nuts paste (15 cashew nuts paste by milk).
6. Ghee (1 tsp).
7. 3 Green cardamoms.
8. Keora water (1 tsp).
9. Cashew nuts (for garnishing).
10. Saffron (1 pinch melt in 3 tbsp of milk).
11. Raisins (for garnishing).
Methods of how to make Shahi Phirni:
1. First crushed the soaked basmati rice in mixer grinder.
2. Boil 1lit milk for 10 min in low flame.
3. Add crushed rice and 3 green cardamoms in it.
4. Boil it in low flame till rice gets boiled. It will take 15 to 0 min.
5. Add cashew paste in it. Mix it very well. Stir continuously in medium flame.
6. Add ½ cup sugar. Mix it very well. Stir continuously in medium flame.
7. Add 1 tsp ghee, saffron. Mix it very well. Stir continuously in medium flame.
8. Add 1 tsp keora water at last. Mix it very well. Stir continuously in medium flame.
9. Put off gas oven.
10. Serve Shahi Firni in firni bowls. Garnish it with cashew nuts, raisins, and crushed almonds.
11. Keep it in freeze. Shahi Phirni is ready.
12. Now serve cool shahi firni as dessert item after main course.
