I prefer alien goddess intense. DBIR intense has a dry down I do not like, smells cheap. Alien goddess is like the tropical version of black opium because the dry down smells similar. Idk something about alien goddess intense is addictive!

I much prefer Dona Intense as I really enjoy benzoin. It has a vibe of niche perfumes and it is well blended with vanilla. It smells great on my skin as well but I agree it can be a bit too powerful, but for winter, it's just perfect.

I can’t wait til you move! I feel like your home state is almost the same as mine - Hawaii - regarding the weather. You’ll have SO more options than you have right now. Hawaii doesn’t have “seasons”. It’s just warm/humid all year round and my perfume collection was the polar opposite of what I have now. I had frescoes and florals. Any Marc Jacobs was my favorite! Living in Utah, I use - and LOVE - beast mode fragrances. I know damn well my collection would look NOTHING like it does today if I was still living at home. (Also, I’m a much older now) SO! I understand your opinions on a lot of the fragrances that you review. I would LOVE for you to re-review fragrances that you either decluttered or can’t wear due to your warm weather.

This is so crazy how noses work! It’s the first time I don’t agree with you girl 😅 I can’t stand alien goddess intense… it smells so heavy and almost like a cheap body lotion on me and the Donna BIR intense has a touch of brightness and creaminess that I really enjoy. Tbh neither are must haves for me 🫶😅

I love my original DBIR. I really like the Intense version as well but I find myself layering it. As for Alien Goddess, I can’t STAND that smell. (Sorry, no offense to anyone who loves that scent). I smelled it twice at my Macy’s & it was a literally instant alcohol wipes scrub off 😂 The first time I thought it was a bad batch (Macy’s). A few month later, (when I was getting better at “testing/smelling” fragrances, I sprayed both wrist and it was the same - instant scrub off. Like Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense - it both turns sour on my skin. I really wanted to love it bc I love those weird looking bottles.

Funny bc I love the OG Alien Goddess, but also get a sharpness from the jasmine? in both of these fragrances. However, the new Alien Elixir is one of my favorite new fragrances. I find the florals different than all of the above. At least on my skin Elixir and Goddess are the ones for me 😊

Donna intense was a scrubber on my skin. Reminder of impact of skin and your own body chemistry on scent.

Hey beautiful great comparison🥰 I thought about trying out the new DBIR intense but I see now that would not be a good buy for me because lately I cannot stand jasmine. I’ve decluttered every single jasmine fragrance I have including the alien goddess intense. Jasmine has just been smelling disgusting to me, I don’t know what happened I used to love it but one day my nose just said nope I don’t like jasmine anymore😂 Thanks for helping me make up my mind and tfs your thoughts😘

Hi 👋 the same for me. I used to love jasmine notes but something has changed and I can’t stand it now. It also gives me horrible headaches. I love the original DBIR but won’t be trying the intense version because of jasmine. Wanted to try Alien Goddess Intense but it is high in jasmine too. I'm with you. I did not like the born in Roma intense at all. I bought it because I am so in love with the original. I was extremely disappointed. Want to find something similar to the beginning. People say parodoxe, but that one was just ok, was not similar at all. I took it back. That and the born in Roma intense. Smh.

I felt so left out cause I didn’t like DBIR 😭 The dry down of the intense is very similar to my nose… I think it’s the bourbon vanilla mixed with the jasmine that gives it this powdery vibe to me? I’m not sure but I know bourbon vanilla doesn’t mix well with my skin.
