Yeah the $14.99 was during the financial crash and were marked down like 6 times so I snatched them up. No more deals like that anymore. It was quite rare to even find the Mugler's recently at TJ Maxx. :)

So after watching your review i got curios if i could find any good Mugler fragrances for men i already have Amen and pure malt so after hitting up a Ross and 2 Marshalls all really close i was about to give up for the day when i saw a TJ Maxx so i walk in and behold at eye level Pure Havane. Great video! My favorite is Angel Men. I also sometimes wear Angel EDP and Angel Eau Sucrée. I'd love it if they'd release an EDP version of Angel Men with the caramel and tar notes amped up. There's definitely a tar note in Angel Men, they even say so on their website. Would be nice to also have an aftershave balm of Angel Men.

I love Mugler A*Men and their flankers! Since Angel doesn't work to well on me (to my despair!) I got my fix from A*Men, and the flankers I love! I am trying to get them all! They are amazing!

Sebastian, I am happy you reviewed this fragrance. Throughout the years, I have seldom purchased a celebrity fragrance. However, I have this one in both the EDP and the oil. I think it is an addictive fragrance and smells like no other. No need to put me in the draw but just wanted to comment on your on-spot review.

A*men is the king, ultra zest is my most favorite, tonka is the most unisex and I die for it, kryptomint is most lovable by others and great in heat and pure wood is for suits.

Before deciding to buy any Mugler online, check your nearest Marshalls and TJ Maxx. You mentioned Pure Havane for 49, I saw it recently for 40$ !!! There are also lots of Pure Malt, Pure Coffee, Pure Wood and A*Men.

Great video Sebastian! The A*Men seem so interesting to me. I don't own the original A*Men but I own 2 flankers, Pure Tonka and Kryptomint. I only bought Pure Tonka because I found it at Marshalls for $32!! So why not go for it, plus I heard good things about it. I really wish I could rock more of the A*Men line but most of them are suited for the cooler weather and not for FL heat. That's why I started with Kryptomint, couldn't find Ultra Zest lol

Great vid.. Shes a very sassy lady with class.. was nice to see the whole line in one video. I am a fan of the house, but a lot of their releases are a little redundant.. I like the original the best, then pure malt .. and i also like ultra zest and krypto.. oh yeah and also the cologne.. I guess i like them all really lol .. even icemen!

Sebastian, that is actually a fascinating story about your working with chemicals, and then being attuned to aromachemicals. -Agreed on Angel, I received one of those paper samples in the mail and ripped it open and left it in my car for several days. It is nice, and agreed, unisex. -Agreed, steroids. -The "tar" comes in at about the hour mark...it is what ruins it for me, even tho I like the opening and I like many of the flankers. -Unisex: When Pure Tonka came out, the SA at L&T told me half the sales were by women. -Our Marshalls (which is same co as TjMaxx I think, and funny enough right across the street from one) has several Muglers now for $50, PM, PH and PC. -ToF...the pepper just killed me, couldn't get past it, almost vomited. -I def do like UZ and even Kryptomint, even tho I made mega-fun of its release...it's actually a really good frag. -Awesome vid, watched the whole thing, informative and fun, thumbs up.

All of the Mugler fragrances have gone through a reformulation. I am pretty sure they have. But B*Men has been the same as it was discontinued quite a long time ago! :)

I discovered Amen because of an ex gf that used Angel. Blind bought it as soon that i saw it on the shelves. Hard to wear? Maybe. GROUNDBREAKING as you well said. Another top notch review. HOT mugler COlogne seemed interesting as well for a soapy scent with edge. Binge watching yesterday some of your earlier reviews.

Sebastian, perhaps the Pure Malt that you have is actually Pure Malt Creation 2013? I have a bottle of caramel from 2013 that looks just like that. Does anyone know how to tell if it's the Creation version? Do they smell differently?

Actually I wish. I would have wanted the Pure Malt Creation and tried when they first launched it. They told me it's only available in Europe and I was in Europe and never found it! So no I got my Pure Malt directly from Mugler.com so I know for sure it's not the Creation but would have really loved to smell that one and perhaps own it! :)

Hey Sebastian love the new opening to your video. My wife bought Angel but her bottle was not a star shaped rather it was a round bottle with a star cap. Is this a different smell or same juice different bottle design?

The Angel bottle comes in different designs, the star is the main one but there have been many others. As long as it says Thierry Mugler or just Mugler it should be legitimate! :)

So believe it or not I don't own any of mugler fragrances and I own a lot of fragrances. I just tried the original A*man and these are just not for me. They are way too strong and overwhelming imo yuck

I bought Pure Malt, sprayed about 5-6 sprays in various places-wanted it to linger while at work. The open was good, but like 1 hour later, it got really really really faint. Only lasted about 5-6 hours. For $100 (including taxes), becoming faint 1 hour later is not good. Not sure I would buy any Mugler colognes again based on this performance. I call this longevity, shortgevity. Poor performance. Very weak cologne.

Wow, that's a lot of Mugler!! I ordered Pure Havane yesterday. I find it somewhat similar to Alien Essence Absolue except with added tobacco of course. With Angel, I love the scent on my skin, but hate it on clothes...what gets on my nerves is that it doesn't last on my skin, but lasts forever on clothes...that drives me crazy, and is why I don't wear it! Original Alien is ok, but I'm really tired of it now. I tried Mugler Cologne, it was meh. In the A*Men line I want to try coffee (especially), tonka and malt. I'm tempted to try Angel Muse, but worry about having the same issues that I have with Angel. Is the mint one maybe refillable?? I hate Womanity as well as the Chypre from the les exceptions line!

The Mint one is not refillable at all. Not sure why they did that with the bottle but they have done it. Perhaps they are going to do something in the future to refill them but currently I'm not aware it's refillable at all! Angel Muse is similar and different at the same time so you might try it. Darn re skin issue with Angel though. It's such a great scent to me still smells so modern to this day compared to when it first came out. Alien I do not currently own so might have to add it to my collection. The Alien Oud is quite nice too and of course I want to try the new Alien Musk. I guess I just go ahead and pick up Alien as I really like it. Must try the Alien Essence Absolue as well. Thank you for stopping by! :)
