Maru is a Scottish Fold -- although lacking the "fold" mutation, which is a good thing since it's associated with skeletal abnormalities. We want Maru to continue with a long and healthy life! But you'd expect a breed from Scotland to not mind the rain too much. It's a damp country. His habit of sleeping on his back is also characteristic of Scottish Folds.

Entering and checking the tents for quality control. Miri sharpens her nails on the inside. Does she make holes in the side ? Maru sitting on the table outside looking up at the clouds trying to predict the weather. Will the rain go away or should I go inside. We learn that a lot of noisy activity goes on downstairs in the kitchen between Maru and Miri at night. Dropping metal bowls on purpose. Chasing each other. We need a hidden camera that is motion activated for the night sessions. Lots of naps during the day to compensate for the lack of sleep. Only Hana escapes upstairs to sleep through the night. Maru and Miri are demanding about the menus and Miri wants to be served at different more interesting venues like on a chair or at the door to make it more exotic. Hana is the family dishwasher cleaning the plates after she hunts down the different locations where the plates were left behind. Lots of fun for the three musketeers boxes, bowls and beer boxes within the tents for Maru having first choice. What a three ring circus, do the humans get any sleep at all ?
