Please, please, stop claiming Maru is "heavyweight", it is slanderous! Maru is as heavy as a cat of his age, gender and breed is supposed to be, the rest is just fur! Most British breeds just look heavier than other cats, but that's mostly because their skeleton is more stout and compact.
