Commendable work Shahbaz 👏 Really Hope our other fast bowlers like Shaheen, Naseem & Co and domestic bowlers start to understand the importance of strength, unique body dynamics and biomechanics of their action to improve further. In Pakistan, almost all the bowlers are subjected to same training and no proper evaluation of individual biomechanics is done. They only focus on maintaining a lean body (ignoring physical strength) and often break down when put under pressure or intense amount of overs. Coaches often tell players to complete 10 15 rounds of the ground and that's about it 🤣 and our bowlers only know a thing or two about rythm and how they're feeling on the day and that's about it still they end up bowling so fast and luckily sustain long enough. Another thing coaches or ex cricketers sitting on tv as Analysts need to understand is that for a fast bowler, physical strength, correct biomechanics and constant evaluation & professional care is as important as playing good amount of red ball cricket. Often times the onus is on playing red ball cricket as more as you can, Yes that is extremely important for the development of a fast bowler but at the same time these things are also essential. Without both of these, a bowler cannot achieve optimal performance and it is seen that specially Pakistani fast bowlers skip both of these aspects. In the end, our players, coaches, and medical panel must take Hasnain's journey as an inspiration to work with other fast bowlers and manage them properly as we've already wasted so many of them. I will be honest here, I never rated him high among pacers. But the sheer dedication, hard work and focus that he has with respect to his career will surely make him a successful bowler. And its already showing. Also, the fact that he did not sit around, waiting and crying for the board to help him, he did everything out of his own pocket because he cares about himself and his career. Not like others who, despite having affordability, simply kept on crying for board to intervene and spoon-feed them. Alas ! Hasnain is from Hyderabad. Had he been from some part of Punjab or KPK, he would have had automatic qualification in the international squad. But now, he really had to earn it and will have to keep fighting to retain it.
