He's not hated by the North, hes hated by those that remove him, no body supported his removal and the breakdown of the kano emirate council which stood for more than a thousand years aside from those that perpetrated it, this is a wrong done by the few that has been corrected, you can clearly see the masses are happy for his return as do majority of all northerners that do not have personal interest in place, i am personally not from kano as well but happy of the development.
