Tbh, I feel like Muichiro is the only Hashira could've beaten Gyokko this easily. Since Muichiro uses disorientation with 7th Form which counters Gyokko's dulled senses. Only Hashiras I see beating Gyokko without much difficulty are Gyomei, Sanemi, Giyu and maybe Obanai.

You can imagine that the 7th form is just the entrance to a whole variety of other Mist skills. 7th form is like enveloping the entire area in mist, it's a Zone type technique. I am pretty sure all of his other skills from 1 to 6th form are enhanced and much more hard to anticipate but if he lived long enough beyond the Kokoshibo fight, he would have had 8th to 10th form just because of his potential alone at a very young age. Probably his 8th form during the 7th form Haze would be like making illusions of himself (moving very fast) to confuse the enemy more (he has to do an aoe attack). 9th form would be an answer to the aoe attack which increases Haze's range 3x the area so that even if the enemy does an aoe, the mist just expands a lot more making the enemy agitated and confused (he now looks stupid thrashing around in a seemingly empty space) 10th form would be the mist dissipates slowly, muichiro is nowhere to be seen. Enemy looks left, right, front, back, still no one around, so confused, only to realize that he had already been cut. Enemy hears a sword getting sheathed as if it's over. And when he dies, he is still confused how he did it.

@@ignacelakra6777 I’ve seen two explanations that were actually both used in the manga. Muichiro doesn’t actually use mist, but his opponents can’t see how he’ll attack due to his baggy clothing. His 7th form works because he speeds up & suddenly slows down & speeds up and continues that which makes his opponent lose track of him (somehow).
