Dakhóta is also of Indigenous background and descendant of the First Nations (prior to the construction of the US) many may refer to the territory as Turtle Island. Thanks for asking. Its one or the few opportunities we get to share about indigenous culture. Unfortunately emojis don’t have a flag that represent Indigenous peoples’ 🙏
