Guys do u know this is a song from Pakistani movie Do Raha made in 1967 sung by the legend Mehendi Hasan. Go and listen to the original. U will be clean bowled. Chitra Singh more than a decade later sang this immortal ghazal in a live performance and she was just out of the box. U will find their renditions out of this world. Now go and fetch them in KZbin. And then let me know, how u found them. Love from India. I discovered this ghazal while listening to Chitra Singh one day . Ali Zafar also attempted this ghazal and he was fabulous

@@omerburki6625 art is not about comparison, he was best at his time, but people do like these new artists as well. Yes about live shows while playing harmoniyam together at the best level I don't see any body has the level of gulam ali sahab...

I had never made any comment on aabhas. Obviously he sang it very well and right from his heart. Awesome. I also like adarsh and Lisa's version. It's unfair to make comparisons. I am sure if you ask aabhas or any of these singers they would all bow in admiration before Mehedi Hasan. The fact that it was sung almost 60 years ago in Pakistan and is being still liked and sung by the new generation speaks volumes. All of them have done a great job. I am surprised how adarsh and Lisa's version is also so soulful. It's another thing to sing and totally another to put soul and life into a song, something that separated Lata ji from her contemporaries.
