I make Tteok-bokki myself without sugar because it is SO SWEET. I have found a lot of Korean pre-packaged noodles or rice cakes have a very sugary base and I am also not into sugary food. I also add fish sauce to mine because I love it!

Hey lady how have you been? My kids started back to school this week so I have been adjusting to that and our new wakeup of 5:30 in the morning. I'm not a morning person and neither is my daughter. I love your channel for so many reasons, one of they is I really love seeing all of these different foods that I have never been exposed to before. Do you have an travel plans in the future?

Michelle, it’s unbelievable I love all of the Korean foods! I believe I was Korean in a former life. I really do. 😂😂 I have used a lot of your mom’s recipes for everything. I make her kimchi for all of them (onion, radish, original) I haven’t found anything that I don’t like. I make Korean BBQ at least once a week. I have to say Bulgogi is my favorite dish I think. With lots of kimchi of course..I’m so happy I found you and Kim. Thank you both for being you! Love you Michelle❤️🥰

So I’m from a rural village in AK, above the Arctic circle. Amazon alone is unbelievably expensive, the one and only Korean place isn’t all that authentic but it’s kinda good sometimes.. So the only way I would ever try the dishes I think I would enjoy is either ordering (wait a good three weeks for it to arrive at my box then wait another three days for my PO to sort out the Mail) from Amazon or markets that ship online UP TO ALASKA. Or if my two grocery stores have the ingredients to cook myself, unfortunately we are limited and a pound of ground beef is $20..
