I've had a couple that come close, but never a chain. We have Philly's Best and it's a soggy mess. That's not to say it can't satisfy a certain craving and that there isn't a place for them, but to call it a Philly steak is blasphemous. It reminds me of the steak and cheese sandwiches and fries I got from the vendors at Bonnaroo when I went in 2003/04. When you're stoned and haven't slept and you want something greasy and gross it hits the spot.
