Rego le Mme Koena, I agree with your sentiments. It takes longer for men to adjust and their adjustment is centered around finances and building a safe space for the family. Whereas for women, it's an immediate adjustment. Now you literally have to take over and build this home. We turn into mothers and nurtures immediately, because honestly speaking the husband will depend on you for food, clothing, and the likes. We all fell into that trap, but I can promise once that stage is over you will not regret it. Maybe for men it's also more of a mental adjustment more than physical responsibility.
