Actually there are several Jollibee locations in Northern California. When they opened 1 in Milpitas, CA several years ago. A lot of people even the Americans, Afro Americans, South Indians and others like the fried chicken, gravy and rice so much. They even buy extra gravy for their chicken. That means it is sooo good.

Their hot dog is really whatever :( but if they add more cheese/mayo+ketchup it would be really good
@WhiteDove78 жыл бұрын
+Erica Torres well, you can't really let them add those because it's a fastfood and it's how it is presented to filipinos for many many years. sometimes to others can be disappointing because they expect it to look like other foods. Not all can appreciate this type of food. So..
@ericatorres48908 жыл бұрын
ok 1. i'm filipino so don't suddenly bash on ppl's comments like that as if i don't know my own culture and 2. the cheese, mayo, and ketchup were already served in the hot dog that i ate in jollibee so it's not like i'm asking them to do more additional things to their menu. i just said it would be nicer if they added a little more bc it was a little dry. it's not that serious lol
@WhiteDove78 жыл бұрын
+Erica Torres it's just a statement dear. You didn't see any exclamation point. Did you? Read it 5x, maybe you'll read it a bit different. Suggesting is nice but, you can't really change how it is actually presented because it's just how it is. And it's just as tasty for us filipinos.
@santolify8 жыл бұрын
That's not even Filipino food. Fried chicken came from the south, the "steak" patty is a Loco Moco dish from Hawaii, and the spaghetti... I honestly don't understand why there's such a big to do about it when it's a copy cat version of the states, and I hate to say, it's not that great.

Jollibee here in the Philippines can't produce large chunks of chicken because then it would be expensive and Filipinos won't be able to afford it. In America, however, many of the people there will pay for larger pieces. They're used to that. Besides, rice is not a staple there, so they really need quite a big amount of chicken to keep them full.

They have a meal or street food in the Philippines where they deep fry chicken skin, it's called "proven" I think that's the name but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
@antonette18168 жыл бұрын
Mean Man chicken skin and proven is not the same :) chicken skin is basically fried chicken skin but "proven" is the proventriculus (part of the chicken) which is dipped in a batter and then deep fried :)

I like Jollibee's chicken too! But now I'm on a diet and not supposed to eat fried foods, and watching you is making me want to run to Jollibee which is only a few minutes away from me! :) Have you tried chicken (or pork) adobo before? It's one of the popular filipino foods out here.

I love you and your videos. Thanks for the entertainment. Jollibees looks like the Church's Chicken we have here in Ohio only not as greasy as Church's, which is the best part for me.

if you ever come to Cebu Philippines check out Sunburst Restaurant. They are famous for their fried chicken and crispy chicken skin. Go to their original branch in Legazpi St as that one is better

Oh I love those chicken joy.. I wonder what are the differences between the philippines and in states.. because I tried to eat jollibee in vietnam and their chicken joy is not that good as here in philippines and yes instead of fries they are serving it with vegetables like romaine and carrots..

I'm in the U.K here MacDonalds don't have Mashed Potato or Gravy. We don't have Jollibee's at all. So it is KFC chicken with a couple local other ones, But then you don't have the Fish and Chip shops like we do
