Sir - I do not know how far it is correct but regarding this incident between Talat Mahmood Sahab and Anil Biswas Ji, I read in a certain Urdu magazine during 1950s that when Anil Da decided to give a chance to Talat Sahab to sing this famous song " Ae dil mujhe aisi jagah le chal" (film Arzoo). Talat Sahab was nervous and conscious of the "tremble" in his singing and decided to remove it for the song and practiced it for days to remove it. The song was accordingly recorded withou his 'natural' tremble which upset and angered Anil Da badly and he admonished Talat Sahab very harshly, asking him to return with his same "tremble" in his voice next day. The song was re- recorded accordingly ...... and the rest is history for both Talat Sahab and Anil Da and Hindi film music ! Warm Regards.

Sir- I have no knowledge or information regarding which movie got released earlier - Nirdosh or Pehli Nazar. So - cannot comment on that. Incidently ,- Swargiya KL Sehgal Saab has also sung this song "Dil jalta hai " - and it is also fantastic ! (available on KZbin) . Both are in fact fantastic - however Shri KL Sehgal's voice quality appears to be 'stronger' , more 'matured', and like that of an "Ustaad" or of a ' maestro ' ! (in my personal opinion) .
