Guys if you are experienced person then forget about selenium or any other tool , libraries. You need to just focus on any technology e.g C++ or Java or c# or Python. If you are comfortable with any language then it's very easy to crack any interview. Interviewer more focus on technology not tool .

Hi Ajit, some additional input from my end. We cant say forget about Selenium because companies are looking for exp in automation (Web, API, Mobile) not only programming. I agree if you are good in programming then you can clear most of the test and rounds but when it comes to how to apply them in automation then you should have clear understanding too.

Hi Mahesh, if you notice for interviews questions are getting repeated (approx 100) so if you solve 2-3 questions in a day then within 3 months you will have good knowledge or confidence.

I'm a manual tester with 20+ years experience and have some experience of java (not commercially). I want to convert from manual to automation but there seems to be too many tools to master. The worry I have is what are the common frameworks in use and what frameworks we should learn - what are the common ones? Do you have any knowledge of the common setups in place now? I just get concerned in investing so much time in a tool that is not being used so much these days.

Hi Ashwini, Call depends on multiple factor like skills set (most imp ) gap (if any), current location (which is not applicable as of now) and mostly your resume part as well. Since you have 12 years of exp then you should add (atleast) web automation tools, CICD, API testing , BDD framework. Try adding them and then lets wait.

Hi Mukesh I follow your videos. But I would like to add few points here. I have given around 10-12 interviews in a month in which I cleared 2 interviews only. The main thing all these interviewers are checking oops concept, how good you are in writing programs. Yes, selenium and other things like TestnNG are also important but the main thing is oops concept. If you will not able to write code and program like anagram, reverse etc, you won't be selected. I am saying this from my experience even when I answer all the questions and not able to explain the oops concept and java program properly , I am not able to crack the interview. I would like to request you to please make some videos on oops concept and java or any other programming language programs basic logic so that it can help us to crack the interview.

What I overall observe from your video is If we learn 1 hr daily and practice for 1 to 2 hrs daily then Definitely in 2 months we will be good for interview. 3 things are main 1. Java -10 hrs 2. Selenium-10 to 15 hrs 3. Framework-20 hrs 1.Total 45 hrs learning -good feeling that I am learning something 2.More 45 hrs to practice- not only learning but practising so nice satisfaction. 3. More 45 hrs to expertise.not only practising but revising daily complete satisfaction and confidence on subject.
