It reminds me of tonglen, a tibetan meditation technique where you breath in dark smoke and filter it inside with love then breath out white smoke. You don’t attach to the dark stuff. You filter it and let go❤

Teachers like Matt Kahn talk about this approach of loving your pain when it arises and not trying to get rid of it as it’s your inner child wanting attention. Hard to know which approach to follow sometimes

My experience over theses decades is that the completed embracing of dark energies/shadow is the way home. A by product has been greater compassion and an ever growing inclusivity of all parts of life (the good the bad and the ugly). I don’t experience the darkness as separate from the light but all made from this source of Quiet Love. 💞🙏
