Chinese historical drama logic is worse than this...its clear that she has boobs,wearing noticable makeup,soft voice,no manly front hairline....still no one ever thinks "he" is actually a she just because she is wearing mens clothing and headband😂😂😂😂😂 until someone sees her chest bandage during shower/changing cloth/apply medicine on wound while she fainted or pressing chest during CPR....and in some dramas they just need to put down their hair and walah!! She is a girl!!!😂😂😂😂 if you put your hair in a high bun-you are a dude and if your hair is down and had some girly hairpin you are a girl...nothing else matters...🐸🐸🐸

I was learning Chinese and one of the words we learned was Shang (it means on top or above). I said Shang as Shang's name and my teacher told me it was pronounced sh-ah-ng not sh-ay-ng. My teacher said that his name is pronounced like that because non-Chinese people automatically think sh-ay-ng is Chinese. It took a while to get used to.
