Mulberry Experiment: Eat ALL YEAR LONG! 2 varieties tested.

Harvest 3-5 times a year depending upon the variety and your growing zone. "Butt Pattin' Happy" is how happy Mr. Riv gets when I'm cooking a mulberry cobbler (umm...explained in video). So, do I want mulberries all year long? Oh yeah! Can all varieties of mulberry be forced to produce all year long (or at least 8-9 months in colder zones)? I just wanted to let you guys know that the Dwarf Thai Mulberris were smaller on the first forced experiment than they were when they first came out in the Spring. One possibility is that it needed additional organic fertilizers for the forced berries to be larger. I will do that for the next round!

Nice! Im gonna prune my mulberries too thanks!😎🌿 I'm having a hard time with my Pakistani mulberry tree. Is there something special we need to do for them? Like maybe more shade? Sun? Fertilizer? Maybe I just need more patience? Lol. Thanks for all your informative videos ☺ 💕🌻

Pakistanis are different from every other mulberry variety. They produce later and are harder to propagate, and ours is young. We are waiting until we get berries to do the experiment on it.

PS. I'm going to try the experiment with one branch of the Pakistani mulberry just to see what it does. I'll let you know if it works, or if it is still too young. But I do know that even Pakistanis like to be pruned occasionally.

@E M I did a few branches. I'll let you know how it goes. I was going to reply with pictures, but I can't figure out how to do that. But I did take a video as well. (Ahhh...learning new things at 60ish...like filming and how to edit videos 😀).
