It’s been 10 days straight at the freezing point here on the eastern prairie! Never has January been this mild in my 23 years living here! 2 years ago, we went 114 days straight below freezing. Never went above 32F/0C once that whole time!

If we had to go out and work in that “blizzard” in Florida, the whole state would shut down! 🤣

Great video, like the way you shoot your work. It’s not boring watching the same approach over and over. I retire in 11 months after being a police officer in Florida for 25 years and I plan to start a business just like yours. Any advice would be much appreciated. Again nice video.

Thank you! I would do a lot of research before jumping into this industry. Figure your costs and see what the market will bear for you to charge and see if it’s worth it to you. Good luck with it!!

Meanwhile it’s -50 at my house north of Fairbanks Alaska and has been for a week…just hold on you’ll pull through. 😂 you mentioned camera angles…the drone and the angle from in the cab when you mentioned it at 14:00 or so were both good from my perspective. Also the tripod set up is nice for the territorial view…most important is that you show real time for a short time then do the sped up version. Looks great! Best wishes!

Alaska is beautiful, I plan on visiting there one day, but I’ll let you keep that COLD weather up there!! 😂 it was 64 today and I was much happier! Thanks for the feedback on the angles, I really appreciate it! I am definitely trying to find that happy balance between real time with the equipment sounds vs time lapse with music.

Great video! Yep, us southern boys (I'm from northwest Louisiana, just outside of Shreveport) don't do well in the cold or that fluffy stuff coming out of the sky! I was wondering about your winch bumper; did you build it yourself or buy it from a fab shop? Be safe and thanks again for the video!

I wish I was that good of a fabricator / welder! I bought it from a fab shop in Grand Bay AL. It was $3500 plus the winch.

How’s that machine for mulching? Any issues with the Kubota? Does it have floor pans you can drop 2 clean out the undercarriage?
@DigginDownSouth6511 ай бұрын
I like it pretty well. I’d kind of like to run an ASV with a Cimaf but Kubota’s insurance is so good it doesn’t really make sense to swap at the moment. The cost of Kubota vs other brands also makes it more attractive to me. Yes, it has belly pans for clean outs.

Trees are probably sucking the pond dry

I found out later that it dried up in this past drought we had, but it normally is up around the overflow level. It’s a watershed pond and not spring fed.

Onboard video is boring. 10 feet at a time is boring. Longer runs shot from a well placed tall tripod are best. Also show more work, less talk.Too blabby.
