Great video, Ashley. Very polished. Already looking forward to the next one.

Woah, I've seen your channel in the past, but the quality of this video blew me away. Great job putting the hunt together and looked like some great deer country. Good luck this fall lads and film a bunch of mulie hunts! Maybe add some more shots of your dinners, always curious about whats on the menu at deer camp. Cheers!

I really appreciate your comment. I really am trying to include the whole journey and it’s nice to get feedback. Still a long ways to go to get the channel up to what I am envisioning so it helps keep me motivated when I get comments like this. Thanks for watching!!

Local BC content is great man, I wish there was more so I hope you take the next statement as constructive not negative. You’re obviously making an effort to not give away your spots now but the amount of blurring you had to do really detracts from the overall production quality. Maybe think ahead and work to get shots that keep that clean adventure and also doesn’t give away the spots you’ve worked so hard for. I’ve enjoyed watching your videos progress

I really really appreciate the constructive feedback. This whole project has been a huge learning experience. It was super frustrating to blur out the footage when I am trying my best to get cleaner footage. As I was completing the edit I was thinking about exactly what you are saying about getting compositions that show the adventure and enough of the setting to get a feel for things without “giving away the spot” Thank you very much for the feedback and the support! I am grappling with the same insurance in my next two videos so I need to come up with a more creative way to address it without destroying the footage. Cheers!

Came to comments thinking the same about the blurring. My advice to keep it easy is just place the camera in spots where it doesn’t show those spots that may give it away. Other wise awesome videos. Glad to find another local hunting channel. Keep it up and good luck this fall! 🤘🏼

Obviously too some shots are harder to hide. But investing in a lens that can zoom in will not only get awesome footage of the animal up close but also hides the surrounding area more being zoomed in. 🤘🏼

Been following your vids for a while now and you’ve definitely made some positive progress, however as another person said, I do find the blurring a bit distracting. I think I’ve heard Steven Rinella say before that they would add in shots of scenery/landscape from different areas with similar vegetation ect in order to not fully give away their locations. Just an idea!

Thanks for watching and the feedback. I have been really trying to improve and I have done a few other editing strategies including some extra B Roll to show the area but not completely give it away. It’s a real challenge!! Thanks again!
