Very nice. I had my commander out a few times already. I wanted to put a lift on mine but did a few measurements and realized it would not fit through the door on my trailer. I have had lift kits and bigger tires on quads before and the clearance was great. Especially in Alberta mud . Enjoy and keep up the wonderful videos. 🙂🙂.

I was surprised the difference it made. Managed to cut all the blow-downs out of an old road and got my machine into a great fishing hole. Got a fine feed of trout last evening but forgot my camera home, so no video. Lost one trout about 3 lbs... I'll be heading out again in a few days to try and catch some more big trout.

Those under cuts are 3+ feet deep. It's only a matter of time before the road becomes impassible, lots of maintenance required to access some of the remote places in back of home

Those mules ate pretty nice. Had some thoughts replacing my grizzly700 with a mule so i can ride even if it rain and so

Nice to stay dry on the poor weather days. But those quads can get into some more tighter places.
@ExpeditionaryRanger3 жыл бұрын
Three-layer Gore-tex riding suit would be a much cheaper upgrade! But, harder to keep the moose quarters dry on the quad.

Do you feel limited by not having a front locking differential? Thank you for the video, I am considering between this and the FXR PRO EPS. And the CF MOTO which is less money that the Mules but does have the front diff. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Not at all, I'm pleased with it's performance but I don't spend any time on mud-holes. I've climbed some steep hills and moved a lot of snow with it. I'm glad I got the 2" lift and adjusted the shocks. It's a different machine now. The Mule is nothing fancy, basic to a fault. But it serves my needs. If I have the money I'd get a Can-am Defender fully loaded... But on a budget, I'm happy with the mule, especially when it comes to gas mileage... Top-Notch mileage.

@@NLGhostWolf Want to say thank you for your help. Dropped coin on the Pro-FXR today. Drove the CFMOTO 600, the MX Mule and the FXR which was head and shoulders above the others. More than I need? Most likely, but I'll never have to wonder or regret that I didn't upgrade when I had the chance. Need some door tops and I'll be prepared for just about anything! Thanks again for your input! Edit to add: parts are on order and need to wait for the build, but I'm stoked!

Did it change the ride any?
@NLGhostWolf3 жыл бұрын
Yes, but not as much as you would think. By stiffening the suspension it increased the clearance of the SxS and then with the added 2" lift kit on top of it, I was shocked to see how much more clearance it had. Now you notice bumps more, hits with a slight increase in the thump if you know what I mean. However for the speeds I drive and the places I go, I'm very happy with these changes. More audible thump when you hit a pothole but I just drive a little slower when roads conditions are poor and when you need the clearance, it's there... Gained a lot more access into areas where I shied away from in the past.

Load your Tires like a tractor. Takes most of the tippiness out. I carry a boat on the roof of my Side by side. Loaded tires helped a bunch. Any Machine made for Canada needs the lift kit. Can-am, kawasaki, Yamaha. They all suffer from the lack of brake over angle.
@NLGhostWolf3 жыл бұрын
yes loaded tires would be a big help
@ExpeditionaryRanger3 жыл бұрын
Do you find that the machine is tippier now? Did they have to put wheel spacers in also, to widen out the rear wheels for example? I have a 2" lift kit here for my Viking, but have hesitated putting it in due to it being used primarily by wife with kids as passengers due to probably a noticeable increase in tippiness.
@NLGhostWolf3 жыл бұрын
Because I had the shocks adjusted to be stiffer I don't notice any difference but anytime you lift a vehicle the Center of Gravity has to change.
