As a mule owner and trainer myself, I must say, this guy ( has been there ) , the best video on mule training I have ever seen or heard, the only reason you the owner can fully trust your mule is because your mule trusted you first, and when you have this bond, you understand each other, mules continually humble me,( thank GOD ) and made me a better person...... thanks for sharing

Awesome! This is what my sister, and I are trying to teach people with horses! Respect, trust, pressure, and release. It's not the animals fault, if they had a problem look at what you are doing.

I think its great to break a mule with a tail crupper breeching ect. But the mules in this vid if you use a nonslip pat and girth do not need them any more than a horse does. Mule with good breeding does not have to have them. But they add to the awesomeness of a great mule. What is fun when out and everyone comes up the regular ole path pick out a eye popper and come out of the creek ect.

I’ve seen bad horses. Any animal can be mean. We had a mare that was bipolar. Sweet as could be as long as you didn’t ask her to do anything. The second you try to lead her somewhere, put her in a round pen, or tell her to do something on the ground she’d try to kill you. Not bite or kick, but actually try to kill you. The safest place around that mare was on her back.

nicole pruiett I’ve trained and worked with hundreds of horses. Your condescending attitude tells me that you feel like you have nothing to learn. That’s exactly when people get hurt. Hopefully you continue to keep easy animals because you’d get wrecked by a hard case. Any animal can be aggressive. Horses aren’t saints. They’re animals.

@lesliejacobs1439
@lesliejacobs1439 2 жыл бұрын
@@maureensullivan7448 Hinny….not the same. Many differences..I have one of both. Hinny…mother ( the dam)is a burro..father is a equine horse.( sire).. to bred a Hinny the fertility is very low..compared to to getting a mule… dam Horse and sire a donkey/Jack…so there are much fewer Hinny’s…by breeding or maybe desire.. On first glance a Hinny is more horse like..the ears are not as long as a mule, the back of a Hinny is more rounded like a horse..as far as personality..that is probably individual..but I notice my Hinny doesn’t react to chasing dogs, and other livestock in the same way a mule does or can..Or jumping over barriers…( from stand still like a mule can)..the rest remains to be seen..and it is really fun to note the difference.
