Can the result written to a db? If so what would be the response? Is it necessary to have http listener to consume API? Can we use http request alone? I am new to API concepts..

Dear Neena, After invoking the API operation, you can use add data through database insert as next step in your flow. And you don't need http listener as you can trigger your event with any other event.
