That recording was her last defence and she actually promises ex to releases it AFTER mistress' surgery but mistress got impatient and asked parent to stole it. That action was the last straw that broke the camel back. FL is a reborn but she didn't have a complete knowledge about the situation from her past life. She always thought ex is totally in love with mistress but actually that was the smokescreen created by mistress. Also in her past life she didn't get pregnant so she was clueless that mistress will be so gutsy so killed her unborn.

Unfortunatelly that is also real. Women who stay with their abusers not only for one decade but for several decades. Have children with them, get abused from day to day and not being able to free themselves. Because that is state of mind. This FL acually died and went back - that was enogh of waking up call that she could change herself and didn't compromise to go back where she used to be. If woman doesn't have financial independency and is mentally broken, used to toxic relationship - then it's questionable if she can save herself.... so, both versions happen in real life - there are women who grow a backbone and leave and there are those, who can't...

This is definitely the best version of this story yet. SPOILERS. Finally the ML gets stabbed to protect the FL and the FL doesn't cave and feel guilty and reconcile. She just walked away and left him bleeding on the ground. His friend was there to take care of him so she didn't leave him to die. That is the reaction I've been waiting for. The ML protecting the FL for once doesn't negate all the harm he does to her and it's not her fault he chose to jump in front of her. She has nothing to feel guilty for and no reason to reconcile with him. The only thing that could've made that ending better was if she literally stepped over him to walk away. The fact she didn't look back though means she's done. If she had any feelings left for the ML she wouldn't have been able to walk away with a smile. I wish we had seen more of the ML's regret. The ending is too rushed so we don't get to really see the ML process what he's lost and really suffer. I would also like to see the FL move on with the Dr. Now that she's clearly over the ML she should be able to move on and find happiness with the doctor or even someone new.

My only thought is that in all the versions, no matter how innocent the mistress appears, no real human being would be a mistress knowing she's hurting another female and breaking up a marriage. Even her parents are culpable. No parent wants their child to be a mistress. The hubby is always trash. You don't cheat on your good spouse and then whine when the spouse is fed up and leaves. You can't have your cake and eat it too. When you cheat, expect bad things to occur. Karma will still roll out for the ML. Good luck finding another good woman.

No matter how many times I see this plot, I have the same thoughts about it. Damn, did anyone actually force him, had the gun next to his head? NO!!! It was his choice. The grandfather stated his conditions and gave him options he could choose from. However, he didn't force him... He could abandon the name, the status, and leave. How he would be living. What he is doing and what his achievements are would show if he has made the right choice.

Maybe if he choose to leave his family & status, his lover won't do committed suicide, and he can live with her. Just need more duration to see how guilty he is, feel suffering like what fl feel before. But unfortunately there's no scene about his guilty, regret, pain etc.

I don't mind a dash narcissism or abuse in a storyline ONLY IF the receiver of the action is NOT a doormat. In this drama, the FL is literally just that, someone who fights back🎉. She didn't take shit from anyone after her rebirth, she stood her ground and fought fair and square, she retaliated when needed every ounce of abuse and injustice she got. Best resurrection drama ever. Realistic story and ending. If only all abused FLs in chinese mini dramas are as badass as the FL in this story, the world will be a better place. 😂❤

A slightly different version of a short drama I've seen a few times before. They had a different cast but were pretty much the same script previously. This one was a bit refreshing. This is probably my favorite version. The FL took no BS and she never forgave the ML. The ending is a bit rushed. It's a little unclear what everyone's ultimate fate will be. I would have liked to see the SFL and even the ML get more of a comeuppance. I liked the way the FL walked away at the end. Definitely no forgiveness in her heart for anybody.

🤦‍♀️ All the versions of this storyline are so disappointing. The Writer truly have not any sense. The FL has evidence and know the truth, how can she didn't called police,even the ML too. That green tea vixen doing so many crimes, she's truly a criminal, how can ML just let her go? Seriously? 🤦‍♀️ Last scene about reveal the truth just too rush and too simple. There's not clear enough. The last scene should be dramatic especially for that people who caused trouble towards FL, ML, green tea vixen & her parent, ML assistant, ML lover sister. FL should be revealing and confronting them, 1 by 1,how stupid/foolish they are, bcs easy to deceived by green tea vixen and make them misunderstood FL for so long. Let them life with their guilties toward FL. That's 1 of their punishment. Im a bit relieved when FL don't even care with ML who got backstabbed, and just leave him.

Im a bit worried before, when the ML got stabbed, as we know what's the meaning of that, right? 😅 I just a bit unsatisfied, disappointed with the story especially that revealing truth scene. FL got wronged for so long by ML, even ML assistant misunderstood her too. ML lover sister too, she really hate FL. And all those people who mistreat FL didn't even ask apologize about their mistakes to FL. FL truly just a victim. ML still has option to leave his family and live with his lover when he got forced marriage by his parent. But he choose to accept this force marriage, and take all the blames to FL who didn't know nothing, she only know that she just love him so much, that's her mistakes/stupidity.

@@aduo7683 no offense, that's just based on my pov. 😄 I just want to all the writer/script writer didn't forget what they made at the first and middle part, so the ending part still hv corelation with first & middle part. And eventough just a fiction, but still need rationality. People who watch the drama automatically they will correlating in real life. Bcs most of drama that they made was about urban/modern. Unless of they made fantasy, wuxia, xianxia. Watching overseas drama/movie for references. Although just made short drama with limit budget it's doesn't mean didn't have any quality. 🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏

Has some good acting, but lots of frustrating bits. FL has some strength. *Spoilers* Why is the FL allowing the SFL to constantly contact her/meet with her? Block that number, lol. And, unlikely that all characters end up in the same town/same area so frequently... Too much back and forth -got repetitive, could have resolved sooner and the ending could have been extended a bit to make it more satisfying.

Second time seeing this and though I wish there was a bit more after the confident walk-off as in- where is she after, is she happy and finally able to breath easy and enjoy the days stress free!?! This type of ending is the best. I don’t think the truth reveal is a punishment simply because it’s stuff we as the viewer has known the whole drama so when it comes to the end on the punishment side of things it’s a bit unsatisfactory. I would’ve liked to see them miserable, SFL in jail and ML regretting big time.

This is the 5th version and I watch only because of Ma Xiaoyu and only to compare it with the other versions so i skipped a lot of scenes. In the other versions, the 2nd FL was either the look-alike or the sister of male protagonist's first love but here she was the recipient of her heart. The 2nd FL in this version is the most devious and hateful along with her family. I am quite satisfied with the ending. The female protagonist got property and monetary compensation and left the male protagonist. The male protagonist found out the truth and somehow punished the villains.
