On December 6, 1957, the movie Badari, made by filmmaker Sheikh Latif and director Rafiq Ghaznavi, was released. The music of Film Bidari was composed by Fateh Ali Khan while the songs of the film were composed by Fayyaz Hashmi. The cast of this film included Ragini, Santosh Kumar, Ratan Kumar, Meena, Anuradha and Rafiq Anwar.
The movie Bidari was made on the ideology / creation of Pakistan but unfortunately the entire movie was a copy of the Indian movie Jagarti. The songs of this film became very popular, including Munawar Sultana's song Ae Quaid Azam Tara Ehsan Hai Ehsan and Taslim Raza's song Aao Bachu Ser Kararain Tum Pakistan Ki and Hum aey Hain Tofaan Se Kashti nikal Kr.
