Interesting to use a siren instead of a vibrating piston or diaphragm like we did in North America, namely Canada. For some reason it sounds like a big clarinet.

That sure brings back childhood memories! Back in the '60s my parents, brother and I visited and were shown round the lighthouse and the foghorn and its engines by the then lighthouse keeper. Great to see them still in working order. 👍
