also what happens to the liquid that is collected in intercooler? and what happens in the another expansion valve (process 5-7) vapor is present?

Why are we converting the superheated vapor (from compressor 1) to saturated vapor using intercooler... If we do that, the temperature of the refrigerant decreases so that the compressor 2 has to do more work , so ultimately COP decreases nah......PLEASE EXPLAIN

bro compressor doesnt deal with temp. it just increases the pressure (but due to T.D. properties with increase in pressure temp. increases), if pressure would have decreased in the intercooler then compressor 2 had to do more work but that's not the case here therefore cop doesnt decrease.
