Kudos to the rich dude! @Obaid Harres Maybe if you'll cosider that he pays his camera man for following around and basically gives him a comforable way to live or earn money, you complain why he does not buy him a house? :D That's absolutely ridiculous. A few observations: The receptionist didn't know who you were eventhough you were there by appointment. You were there to see the owner, and you had to have a somewhat awkward interaction with the sales staff. You initiated the introduction with them. You had to ask to see the owner once inside. Even after telling staff you don't drink alchohol, they bring you a large glass of champagne anyway. The owner name dropped famous clients. Owner tells you three or four different times what he's all about, yet it was very obviously all about greasing you for a sale... Thanks, but that didn't help his business

@Herbert Hannibal I think that the champagne thing does look rather bad for them. There are three people there - you get three glasses, very easy. But honestly, I might not have gone for a handshake on a person who is currently filming either because I would assume that they might not want to do that and it might ruin their shot. Either way, those people might be socially inept or they might also be incredibly nervous and when you are nervous it's very easy to overlook things and make mistakes on the go. I feel that if they have reached that level, it means that they are doing some things right.

@@dingdong8328 Don't take this wrong, just to inform you. Some rich people hold an opinion that they're better then what they call "peasants" which means anyone that isn't rich. You can tell in their body language and how they shake Adam's hand just to make Micheal the customer happy. Then the scene where she only brings Micheal a drink. It's a clear sign of disrespect and arrogance on their part. Adam tries to brush off the disrespect but I believe Micheal caught that. I don't want to give you the wrong idea because I have many rich friends that don't treat people like this, They give drinks to everyone including the help. It's a sign of class and value towards people. The mind set of a person with class is that everyone is important. Without Adam, Who would hold the camera? He has a purpose and he's doing a great job so he deserves to be respected. Micheal holds values about "Loyalty" which is why I believe in the next video he buys Adam a watch, For actually being a loyal friend and not expecting anything. To show him he does have value.

@@panicschannel7665 You're reading WAY too much into this. Relax, lmfao. OBVIOUSLY they will put more importance into the main guy, the captain, Michael, because he is the one who is going to be buying. So what if they forgot him a glass, big deal, that shit is probably expensive as fuck. What do you know? They laughed with him, shook his hand (when Michael introduced him, because USUALLY in t.v shows the camera man stays quiet as the host is the main subject) and asked for his opinion on watches as well. So, I see where your opinion is coming from, and it's from a good place, but why don't you leave the vibe check to the people that where actually there IN PERSON and not some clown who is sitting on his phone watching strangers. Good luck.

@@soultaker840 if you were given a discount from any AD, on any brand that AD has & Is an authorized dealer for (as long as it’s actually a luxury watch brand) then you didn’t get fucked. Not even a little bit. No AD is required to give a discount, with most brands it’s highly frowned upon, & in some cases a flat out “no no” to give discounts on the MSRP. Just because they are selling second hand (grey market) for less than retail is completely irrelevant. That’s not the fault of the AD, nor the fault of the manufacturer. Just because something doesn’t go up in value, or retain its full value on the secondary market doesn’t mean you’re required to get discounts on buying one brand spanking new from any AD. That logic makes less sense than anything I have ever heard in my life. Since it’s apparent that you may be new to the watch world, here’s a bit of information for you. Not long ago, as in within the last decade. 99.9% of watches wouldn’t hold their full value on the grey market unless they were limited/rare pieces or were considered vintage. Even brands like Rolex. Hell, a decade ago you couldn’t give away A Patek Nautilus, any Richard Mille, or most APs. They were for certain clients who liked them, & true collectors. Hell there was a time when Rolex ADs would GIVE their customer a Daytona if they would purchase a Day Date. It’s all marketing & Social media that has ruined the watch hobby, making stainless steel Rolex models sell for 2-3x the retail price....USED. It’s absolutely absurd. Go back to your shoe days, how many shoes would go up in value on the secondary market? Almost none of them when you consider the grand scale of shoes. Sure, rare or limited release Jordan’s, limited production collaborations from Nike, Jordan, ect. Other than specific things in that market, shoes lost value the second you walked out of the store. Which is the case with 99.9% of any goods you will purchase, even luxury goods. Today’s watch market is a rare exception that will one day go away as everything always does. It’s the circular world we live in. So if you received a discount on a luxury watch, you’re considered lucky, not someone who got screwed. If you walked in knowing the watch held no value on the grey market & you still purchased the timepiece, either you’re the dummy, or it didn’t matter to you. (as it shouldn’t, watches aren’t meant to be an investment. They are meant to be worn & enjoyed) It’s not the AD who is at any fault.
