I'm not a Gamer anymore but it's good to know that T-Mobile 5G Home Internet can support Gaming with no problems! It is very Area specific like I always tell people on my KZbin Channel but if you get the right Third Party Equipment you can make just about anything work with it plus make it ten times better! It really doesn't, I have T mobile home internet and games are unplayable due to the packet loss you constantly teleport backwards with no solution or fix. I'm in chandler az too.

How is the data cap on 5G? They're pretty stingy with data caps on the cellphone when you need to use it as a hotspot.

Yes, hotspot data is different than standard data. They are concerned that someone might use their phone as a hotspot and get away with things. Regarding TMHI (tmobile home internet) their is no stated data cap. I have used over 2TB some months and there is not an issue. That said, if I was flagged as being an "abuser" and used 15TB a month, I am sure that would be different. Comcast had me capped at 1.2TB and then they would just charge you more without warning. I have a Nintendo Switch and I can not play Mario Kart online against other people over my TMobile Home Internet. I can play multiplayer games online from my PC, but not with the Nintendo Switch.

Just for the T-Mobile modem to try and it doubled the speed from my ATT gateway ! Crazy but ATT allows you to give you Xbox static ip but T-Mobile doesn’t ?

You can get a static from T-MOBILE for business but the latency goes crazy. AT&T is still finding themselves with 5G. I had a horrible experience we with it but understand that in some locations it might be the best choice.

I've watched your other CGNAT videos after finding them and now I am confused here. You've mentioned multiple times that the ELSYS had to be in bridge mode for this to work but now its used as router mode. Which is it? Looking at the information that is presented in this video you are in a Double-NAT and using CGNAT. This is evident when you look at the gateway IP addresses. ELSYS is 192 168 10 1 and the Orbi 192 168 1 1. The WAN address is in a publically routable address interesting enough but it would appear that this is still being NAT'd judging by you address in the SpeedTest results. How is this "fix" over coming this? I posted this before but didn't receive a response so hopefully this time you could explain this for me. Much appreciated.

@@PeterC408 Its not your settings that are making Plex work its Plex Relay that is making this work. This is an option that is enabled by default on the Plex server and used when you are unable to make a DIRECT CONNECTION like you are unable too. I'd say you've been using this the whole time thinking that you have overcome double-NAT and CGNAT. Do yourself a favour and go look up Plex Relay and then you'll have a better understanding of how this is actually working for you.

Have both, T-Mobile is considerably better. Can still only get 4G with ATT, speeds don't even come close to T-Mobiles. Still game over it though without much issue.

Also another question, when I’m not connected to wifi my ATT home internet air gives me 24 ping but then when I connect the the ATT home internet I get 42 ping.. how is that possible when the phone and modem is using the same internet ?

I can't figure out what's happening with my T-Mobile 5g Home internet. I dont have a fancy modem just the tmobile gateway with the antenna ports on the back. It looks like the (G4AR & G4SE) I am getting around 150-300 MB/S download speed and anywhere from 10-25 upload speed with 21ms download ping (idle latency) 123ms download latency and 70ms upload latency When I run packetlosstest website I am sending 100% packets but receiving like 0% it says they are all late packets 47% total packet loss and 52% late packets.

@@Chris57350 many people have reported network NAT issues playing multiplayer. It is because of double NAT and the changing IP address. You have to stay alive for longer 🙂

The good news is that you can get it to work. The bad news is that it will not work with the hardware they give you. TMobile gateways do not have a full set of advanced Firmware options. The DDNS feature that I used, just is not available on that unit. Using your access point to implement the same feature is not possible because it imposes NAT (creates a private network) and does not give you access to their IP address to watch it for changes. GOOD NEWS! I am working with a modem that has these features and is much less expensive. That video coming soon. Stay tuned
