You owned that spot, nice video. That's the worst feeling when the drag is being ripped off and you feel the line against the structure. Thanks for all the awesome videos in 2019!

Does that line have any weight to it or do you cast that straight with the teaser and the banana jig?

Hey Donnie. I wanted to ask you about your Gloomis 8’ heavy power rod I see in some of your videos. 3/4 ounce to 6 ounce. Have you ever used it for throwing flare hawks ? I was looking at a Star Rod 8’ heavy power 15 -25 line and 3/4 to 2 ounce. Your opinion matters. I know you will give good advice , cheers Donnie.

Thought I heard you mention that you make your own teasers. I had a tough time finding Doc's Goofy Jigs in stock. Couldn't find the teasers. Do you have a video where you show how to make those? thanks

I bet it was that big snook spotted earlier in the video. Or.....a big jack as you said. Stranger things have happened than a big snook hitting a pomp jig. Unlikely, but not impossible. It's the unknown heart breakers that keep us coming back, Thonny! Nice vid.

You probably snagged a sting ray Edit: maybe a king fish because theres king fish in JP but it would be hard to get one on a pompano jig

Nice catches , Question, that jig your using do do sink it to the bottom when you jerking the tip of the rod or do you retrieve before it sinks?
@Thonny5 жыл бұрын
Ajmobilemastertechnician Nunez let it sink to the bottom and hop it along the bottom leaving slacks if your lines too tight with working the lure most likely you’re not working the bottom. Occasionally I’ll get pompano on the drop but the pompano are gonna be at the bottom.
