I think the most frustrating thing about this movie is the cast. Except the ML who acted as a villain in many other movies, the others have no sense of presence. It was like watching a play of backup actors. So it fails to capture my attention. Second, it ruined the "trusted the wrong prince and picking the right prince/ eunuch in this life" revenge plot by adding a lot of unnecessary elements like cultivation power/magic 😅 So it feels like a soup with too many ingredients. Third, I agree with the others who commented before me - the FL barely does anything alone and makes a lot of mistakes. I like FLs who are smart, decisive and strong. Maybe someone else might say this is 'more realistic', but I was only talking about my preference 😊

This movie is a remake from the manga the eunuch consort who rule the world. It a good remake. The manga is good but it really heart breaks because both the mean ML and his twin brother goes through really sad experience.
