This is a very good costume version of the reborn/revenge-plot story “Do you dare to come steal the wedding?” that normally takes place in modern times. I think it works very well and the actors do a great job transforming this story. I loved this strong/ruthless FL and flirty/supportive ML. IMO, well worth watching. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! In ancient times FL dies and ML marries her posthumously, wishing for her to not marry the same scumbag (2ML) in her next life. Then he joins her in death. But FL is somehow reborn one month before her marriage to 2ML. When the carriage she is transported in is stopped, she finds that it is ML. Happy to see him, she hugs him, much to his surprise. In this life, FL won’t make the same mistake, so she asks him if he dares to steal the upcoming marriage and “borrows” his jade-pendant as a love token. When she returns to the mansion, she starts dealing with those family members taking advantage of FL’s parents being away to try and take over the family possessions and hurt FL. Later, as her military parents come back, she tells them she wants to break off the engagement to 2ML even if she was the one who once begged her father to ask the Emperor for the marriage. She also makes a deal with ML of him helping FL to destroy 2ML and her helping ML gain her family’s military power. The very power that led for FL to be used by 2ML, in order for him to ascend the throne. A help she was later killed for, so he could make her sister his Queen. Soon, FL is entangled with this flirty and supportive ML while executing her plans for revenge on everyone, one by one. Well, this has a happy ending.
