Some people like WIFTY because they prefer drama that has more romantic appeal to them like a lot kissing scenes and typical predictable with happily marriage at the end. As for me I like this drama more because it has a great quality story lines, the conflicts in the drama realistically resonate with a lot youngsters and Asian parents in now society.

Was WIFTY all about the kissing scenes?? I think it’s pretty normal to kiss your partner a lot. But tbh it wasn’t even that overbearing. People love WIFTY for the more closer friendship, smooth storytelling and plot, and perfect understanding and communication between the main couple. It has a lot of healing qualities. Personally I find the FL here to go back and forth between supporting and understanding him to not actually understanding him at all.

This drama disappointed me quite a bit honestly..Not Zhou Yiran absolutely..His acting was top tier and I loved that he is experimenting different characters for his every drama..I love his acting..The the problem is I guess the storyline..The fl's acting was also nit so good..There is hardly any chemistry between the leads..Sometimes it feels like it was even better when they were classmates as friends..But now even after confessing they are like only friends..What disappoints me the most is you can see that they don't even hold hands while walking beside each other which is the most common thing of a couple..I have watched till 20 episodes, we only got 2-3 hugs and two pecks (not kisses)..Honestly the hugs in those scenes were compulsary..If they hadn't done it then, I was gonna throw my hands seriously..We also got one fish kiss at the time of confessing and other one was a touch on his cheeck by her..That's it..I am not saying skinship is a must..There are many dramas which have incredible chemistry among lead couples without any skinship..But I can't feel it here..All they talk about is just work and stuffs..Only Yiran's acting is keeping up the drama and holding me to watch it..I hope Yiran would do more great projects in the future like he did in Falling Into Your Smile, The Sweetest Secret, When I Fly Towards You..He is so talented..

This story is way much better than typical Chinese dramas I used to watch. Most Chinese dramas I’ve seen the ML characters were rich CEO’s and FL character were poor and helpless. The conflicts were always came from jealous other female rivals and evil mother from ML sides. 😂 This drama portrayed two young couples ( in their teens ) who are still in school and facing hardships and difficulties caused by absence their parents. Of course their intimacy are limited. Imagine in reality when we are falling in love for the first time especially when we’re just in a high school or a freshman college, we didn’t do lot of hand holding in public let alone kissing. The creators of this drama put the right amount of romantic scenes. I think this drama is absolutely amazing.

I agree. This is a young couple that comes together after a year and a half separation and yet they seem more distance than when they were desk-mates. With the emotional termoil the ML has going on in every sence with the FL she seems uninterested. There is no real hint of affections and no physical affections that is to be shared which is normal for couples at the beginning of their relationship. I certainly don't want to have a sex-filled or extreme make-out sections but it's more than lacking. I do blame the actress as I know she is capable but I think it has to do with the direction and script.
